About the Author of NeuroExplorer

MSU at nightAuthor of NeuroExplorer, Alexander B. Kirillov, studied math at the Department of Mathematics of Moscow State University.  This department is one of the best math schools in Russia.  Alexander majored in Probability Theory and Statistics and one of his professors was A. N. Kolmogorov, father of the modern probability theory.

Alexander received M. Sc. degree in mathematics in 1975 and worked until 1990 in the Institute of Mathematical Problems in Biology.   In 1990, Alexander moved to United States, where he  worked at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, and in several companies including Biographics, Plexon and AnVil.

Alexander began the development of NeuroExplorer in the Fall of 1996.  The first version of NeuroExplorer was released in 1998.  Alexander continues to develop the new versions of the program and provides customer support to users of NeuroExplorer.
