Parameters

Parameter

Type

Description

contVar1

variableReference

Reference to the continuous variable.

contVar2

variableReference

Reference to the continuous variable.

Examples

Python

import nex
doc = nex.GetActiveDocument()
FP01_minus_FP02 = nex.ContSubtractCont(doc["FP01"], doc["FP02"])

# you can also use arithmetic operations on continuous variables:
doc["FP01_minus_FP02"] = doc["FP01"]-doc["FP01"]

NexScript

doc = GetActiveDocument()
FP01_minus_FP02 = ContSubtractCont(doc["FP01"], doc["FP02"])
